Provided the full scope of Land Planning Legal Secretary duties to both Senior and Junior At- torneys at a fast-paced nationally recognized firm specializing in land planning law. Reviewed developer plans; researched federal, state and municipal code; copyedited municipal code drafts; prepared attorney’s for Community Redevelopment meetings and City Council meet- ings; prepared letters and court documents; prepared permit applications; and worked closely with City of Boca Raton officials and area developers. In addition, I was on the team that drafted the New Jersey Highlands Regional Master Plan to meet EPA compliance. As the Se- nior Attorney’s eased into retirement I was often loaned to the Centre for the Arts, a non-profit that we shared office suites with and that was founded by the Senior Attorneys. I was later hired by CFA directly.

Centre for the Arts at Mizner Park was a non-profit organization that hosted the annual Festival of the Arts Boca. The festival was a 10-day classical music, fine art, and literary event held in Mizner Park. As the Assistant to the Managing Director, I worked closely with the Managing Director, IMG Talent Management personnel, the Chair of the Festival, Board Members, Spon- sors, Donors, the City of Boca Raton Event Manager, and the Palm Beach Tourist Commis- sion.

I was responsible for everything necessary to run the office of a small, busy, non-profit, as well as coordinating the festival and assisting in the amphitheater management. A few of my many duties included: designing and distribution of press kits, production of video promotions, prepa- ration of grant application, managing online ticket sales, managing databases, financial report- ing, managing the network, securing insurance riders, coordinating police details with the City, coordinating volunteer staff, managing email campaigns, coordinating fund raising events, managing live auctions, responsible for all correspondence, booked transportation and ac- commodations for artists, etc. Seventy hour work weeks were not uncommon.
