8/2013 till 8/2014: Lead QE on a Rocket Alternative Warhead program, providing Technical and managerial support to the program and three major and 3rd tier product supplier. Prime Team member during Pilot line Verification (PLV), Physical Configuration Audits (PCA) and Manufacture Readiness Level evaluations 8&9(MRL). Successfully entered into the MRL9 level

2/2013 till 8/2013: Temporally assigned offsite at a BAE facility in Sealy Texas, as a Lockheed Martin QE team lead. I was responsible for the assembly of the JLTV trucks and the initial FIR sell off of those trucks to the Government DCMA at Sealy. After completion of the final buyoff I returning LM home base and was key interface person for the preparation of all Final Inspection Record (FIR) data and Vehicle configuration for Final DD250 sell off to Government, DCMA Dallas. Completed assembly and sold off 23 trucks, 6 weeks earlier than scheduled completion date. Awarded three LM Recognition Awards for my direct and continuous dedication during the entire JLTV procurement, assembly and FIR buy off process.

12/2011 till 1/2013: Quality Engineer Specialist SME LEAD Quality Design Reviewer for the JLTV Vehicle IRAD and EMD contracts. Responsible for QE interface with the Product Development Rapid Response shop during the manufacture, assembly and test of internally made assembly. Taken on the position of a Supplier Quality Engineering, apply Quality requirements to purchase orders and prime QE contact for major suppliers. I was the prime QE interface LM assembly at BAE, Sealy Texas. Assisted BAE during their organization and reconfiguring for their assembly line to support LM JLTV truck assembly. Also performed audits of the BAE assembly and paint lines for the LM JLTV Truck.

8/2011 till 11/2011: Supplier Quality Engineer Sr. Lead at MFC Lufkin, TX. Supporting numerous major Lockheed Martin Missiles program products thru received, assembling and shipped process (PAC3, THADD, 4 PAC, Japan Production, GMLRS and MLRS) programs. I was the Point Of Contact for all supplier product issues relating to any questionable or discrepant supplier hardware being received at this facility.

2009 till 2011: Quality Engineering Specialist position as a SME Quality Design Reviewer on both the Common Controller Device (CCD) and MULE program (driverless vehicles). Responsible included; QE oversight for the Product Development Rapid Responses manufacturing, supporting machining, assembly, and inspection of hardware and key QE person for design review buyoff, build up and acceptance of the test equipment for these programs.

My previous opportunities;

2005 to 10/2009: I've was an offsite Supplier Field Quality Engineer (SQFE) providing technical, management and Quality support on numerous major components across several Tactical Missile Programs, ATACM, GMLRS, HIMARS and JASSM. While at L3 Communications, Fuzing & Ordnance, Inc. (FOS), Cincinnati, Ohio. I participated in numerous supplier continues Improvements and Kazan events on their surface Mount Technology, product production lines and systematic procedural changes. Lead a bi-weekly communication meeting with senior vice president and program management. Lead a weekly Quality 101 discussion with supplier QA and Manufacturing personnel that supported the LMFC program. I provided interface support four major GMLRS Missile products, one emerging program. Provided weekly status charts to the individual home based program teams. AS creditable accept to this Supplier I participated in FOS's internal production meetings, insuring requirements of the individual LM programs were keep in focus, reviewed purchase order requirements and reviewed drawing change with this team. I’m an active member of the suppliers Material Review Board. My experiences with Kazan events, QA procedures, special processes, SPC and QA Management have been a major contributor to this supplier continues product improvement. FOS recognized me in 2008 for my participating in four Lean/Kaizen events. Provide home base program management with the most up to date data necessary to evaluate the quality/reliability risk to their program.

2004 & 2005: LMMFC Program Quality Manager UK Launcher for development of a high speed electric drive and support system for the British MLRS Launcher platform. Mutable Tasks were; lead Member of the Production IPT, supplier liaison, QA cost account manager, and design reviewer. Utilizing my lesson learned in other programs, I alerted program management of the potential that this supplier was problematic and needed continues oversight to be successful. Even after months of direct in house LM support, this supplier product was removed by the Prime Contract.

2002 to 2004: LMMFC Program Quality Manager GMLRS EMD/SDD Program QA Manager (QPM) supporting a new design GMLRS Rocket payload and motor. QA cost account manager for both the basic GMLRS and Unitary SDD programs. Instituted useful defect report matrix, Participated in Six Sigma events both internal and at supplier, domestic and European. Negotiated and was instrumental in being awarded a follow on development and Low rate production contracts. Currently this product is still in Production and a major product of the MLRS family of rockets. The rocket/system proven to be a weapon of chooses early on in the current mid-east conflict. During development the program had direct in-house interface with foreign counterparts from England, France, Italy & Germany.

1999 to 2002: LMMFC Program QE Specialist preformed design review, product development and interface with supplier, development of special processes, tooling and acceptance criteria on the GMLRS DIPICM and Unitary rockets. I converse at the level required to convey design requirements with the supplier base, from the Circuit card to a simple machine parts. Communicated as part of the Integrated Product Teams that consisted of NATO members, Government Project office and suppliers as necessary.

1994 till 1999: LMMFC QE Specialist, Design reviewer and Supplier Quality. SME and MRB sign off authority on all mechanical, electrical and electronic design changes and concepts. Program Team member that interfaced with every aspect of EMD product design, development and integration verification at LM Camden facility. Worked directly with the program supplier base to insure that the design requirements are understood and the supplier was capable of producing the produce under contract. In 1997 I volunteered to be the program offsite representative at a supplier during the design development and testing of a new a combo Break/Transmission use on the M270 Launcher. I was considered SME lead authority for emerging designs.

1985 till 1994: I was lead Quality engineering on numerous production and development Rocket warhead programs and fire control systems.

General

I'm a designated QA design authority and Material Review Board Member for all programs Rocket and vehicles produced at the MFC facility in Dallas Texas. I have been identified as a person that takes care of issues, supplier or internal. Numerous times have been asked by upper management to "Just take Care of it!" and I do just that!

Graduated from Columbian High - Major in Architectural Design & mathematics.

Military service: 20 years US Navy Vietnam veteran.

IAW SMART, Navy College program, University of the Incarnate Word, I have accumulated 70 hours, most can be applied directly toward an undergraduate degree in Management.
