Jack's role was a mix of the "day to day" role of ensuring the right parts were always available to the maintenance team to reduce machine downtime and improving the service provided to the business. Using his knowledge of maintenance needs Jack successfully managed a number of improvement projects including using kanabans, creating a parts database, using visual management techniques to identify the right part faster and the re-organisation of the two stores."
