Description:

This project will develop the New Billing Architecture to move towards the target architecture where the Billing Gateway (BGW) is the key interface between the ordering/provisioning systems and the billing systems. This project is introducing a new field, the “BVoIP Site Alias”, that needs to be passed from the sales systems to the ordering/provisioning systems and finally to the billing systems. This would be a new field on the existing GIOM to CADM billing hand-off interface, but that is a legacy interface that the architects will not allow any changes to it.

Therefore this project will design and implement the target architecture that replaces the GIOM to CADM billing hand-off interface with the GIOM to GCP to BGW to CADM billing hand-off interface that is controlled by an updated EFMS workflow. Since this feature is a key part of the infrastructure, it is imperative that the systems have a simple way to revert back to the old architecture if the new architecture is not stable.
