Coordinating all activities of 3 shifts injection molding facility such as production scheduling, manpower, scheduled shutdowns for any type of equipment/mold repair and also preventive maintenance. Assist to shift supervisors with processing, troubleshooting and making any necessary adjustments in injection molding parameters requested by QA. Utilize RJG software to secure consistent molding process from start up to another. Working with set up department on reducing changeover downtime. Working with warehouse coordinator on maintaining stable inventory levels such as Kanban, Safety Stock and on time delivery.

Production Planner 2005-2007

Duties Performed:

Review production schedule, manufacturing orders and related information via use of SAP system; conferring with department supervisors to identify and track material requirements.

Analyzes and maintains daily production reports concerning progress of work and downtime due to failures of equipment, and monitors material inventories to apprise production supervisors of production delays. Analyze and correct manufacturing orders. Processing jobs by using SAP system, scheduling material and manpower supply.

Supervising 10 to 15 hourly employees. Processing injection molding machines for new and existing jobs. Troubleshooting process if requested by QA. Cycle count manufacturing orders on production floor and in w/h. Schedule mold changes with mold setting department.
