WORK EXPERIENCE
Technician
Omni Cart Services, Mentor, Ohio
Mar 2014 – Dec 2015
I spent the year and a half here as basically an Operations Manager in training, working as the operation manager’s shadow in which I held a number of responsibilities including, but not limited to: Receiving shipments, shipping parts orders and transfers, refurbishing products, general maintenance of the building and grounds, delivery truck driver, forklift operator, accountant assistant, payroll, projections, working in the field, supervising the other foreman and their technicians and training new ones. I was a “do it all” person for this company, there wasn’t a single part of the company I was not involved in. If there is one thing this job has done for me, it has been to enhance my problem solving skills. There was not a day that goes by without the need for fast paced problem solving.
Security Officer, Head of watch
Guardsmark, Columbus, Ohio
Sep 2013 – Feb 2014
As a security guard I maintained the safety and security of the building and its occupants through awareness and patrols. I was in charge of managing and distributing keys, information and schedules to occupants, other guards and maintenance crews as well as monitoring them throughout their time in the building.
Front End Head
The Home Depot, Mentor, Ohio
Mar 2010 – Jul 2012
Started as just a lot attendant before picking up the responsibilities of a pro loader, returns and receiving. I then took the initiative to learn each and every department and their equipment so that I could assist and work anywhere in the building. I learned a lot about hard work and dedication at this job. It doesn't matter if you're picking up garbage or helping the store manager restructure the store, you put everything you've got into every task and that is my work ethic.
EDUCATION
Cleveland State University, Cleveland, Ohio
2015
I am pursuing a major in psychology. I transferred here from OSU to move back to home town to take care of family. Currently taking a break from college in 2016 in pursuit of work. Hoping to finish at a later date.
Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio
2012-2014
I entered OSU with Computer Programming as my initial major as a fast track to the FBI's cybercrime unit, but I decided to switch to psychology.
