Description: Business Service Operation (BSO) is a service provider for all the applications in MetLife Project and it is introduced to integrate the applications seamlessly which replaces the multiple interface systems, because MetLife Systems are market segment focused, Fragmented Data (some systems are not updated automatically when their upstream is updated and significant manual data entry for couple of applications
BSO encapsulate the core group components like from 300 interfaces reduced to 60 Business service operations. It is achieved/communicated through two methods. They are Web Services and Message Queues. Execution is done in RIT Tool and results are loaded in QC.
Basically, Services are provided from Upstream to Downstream Applications and vice versa, Also logs are captured in ISG logger tool.

Description: Business have come up with the details of the Customer are going to store at one point where Users can see the Customer information, Coverage Details, Structure, Broker Details etc., in one repository irrespective of all the Core and Voluntary Plans, as well as all Market Segments which called CCPR (Common Customer Plan Repository) comes under the CAT Program. Description: Global Risk Automation and Credit Engineering (GRACE) that supports the Credit/OA Automation programs for the entire US Credit Network. These programs perform critical maintenance for Credit operations, including cancellations, reinstatements, financial adjustments, letter processing, LOC reductions and much more. Originally the programs were created to reduce manual efforts that were handled by Analysts. Most of the programs are designed to process accounts received from a specified work list and others receive input manually or from mainframe file. They will take actions as an Analyst would – going to individual screens, gathering information and then returning data for update. The programs will read, update and access the flow of screens that would be used to perform the transaction.
Role :
As a Business System Analyst, I am responsible for analyze the application changes and the enhancements should not impact it in future If the application design is modified as per the new change request. Preparing Minute Project Plan (MPP) Document and sending to the business for the approval. After approval, have a JAD (joint application development) session with the developers to do the change. Also I am responsible for preparing the test plans, test cases for the application change.
