1. Attendance application- Attendance application terminal is put at the entrance the office premises, the employees while entering or leaving from office flashes their card on the terminal and the door gets open for them at the same time the information gets updated on the local server through WLAN.
2. Online lottery application- Online lottery is an application in which customer bet on numbers on wide variety of games downloaded from the server and ticket is generated at the same time. Customer can check for the winning numbers. Draws are declared at the backend server application.
3. Online Insurance application- Online Insurance is an application in which customer willing to avail insurance of their vehicle, gives details of the vehicle such as Make, Chasis number, Registration Number, Cost etc. and then a policy is generated. Also the customer can make premium payment and a Receipt is generated. The Records gets updated at the backend server application.
4. Bus ticketing application- Bus ticketing an application in which the bus conductor punches the data of passengers entering into the bus such as the source and destination locations, number of children, adults, and student passes etc, accordingly fare is calculated and ticket is generated. Logs are maintained in the terminal memory and on the conductor card. At the end of the trip the data from the handheld terminal and conductor's card is uploaded on the server at the Bus depot.
5. Value-Buy Loyalty application- Value-Buy Loyalty is an application in which the value-buy customers visit the participating Retail Stores (garment stores / gift shops etc.) which has these handheld terminals, where the retailer update the points (Redeem or Accrue) based on the purchase made and handover the loyalty card back to the customer (exactly like credit card transaction).Transactions are stored in the terminal memory and on the customer card. At the end of the day transactions are uploaded on the backend server application.
6. Spot Meter-Billing application- Spot Billing is an application in which meter readers from various utility companies visit consumer premises and read the current reading of their meters, generates bills on the spot and hands them over to the consumers for payment. Previously this information was collected manually and was then entered into the Billing Computer System. Bills were generated centrally and dispatched to consumers through mail or courier. Through this process it used to take 30-45 days on an average from the time the meter readings were collected to receipt of payments.
