During my DA course in Stanley Medical College, I was well trained to give anaesthesia for patients posted in General Surgery, Paediatric Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Urology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, ENT, Neuro Surgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery. I had four months of Intensive Care postings in Stanley Medical College.

Sundaram Medical Foundation is 250 bedded hospital well-known for its Quality Health Care. Anaesthesia dept in SMF, under Dr Eunice Selvaraj, is well disciplined and organised and have set protocols for giving anaesthesia for various surgeries. Good post operative care is also being given by the anaesthetists through epidural and intravenous infusions. I was trained to give Labour Epidural for obstetric patients.

During my postings in Intensive Care Unit as observer, I was trained by Dr.Ramrajagopal and Dr.Mahendran Intensivist.SMF ICU had 17 beds and it’s a closed ICU led by Dr.Ramrajagopal. i have done ACLS course.

I was posted in madras medical mission for a period of 2 months in cardiothoracic anesthesia.

I was properly trained to start Central Venous Access in various postings in SMF and in MMM hospital.

I was properly trained by Dr Ramesh and Dr Jayanthi to anesthetise, paediatric and neonatal elective and emergency procedures, which includes paediatric orthopaedic, plastic surgeries, ENT, neurosurgery and general surgery cases like diaphragmatic hernias, tracheo-esophageal fistulas, Piere Robinson syndromes.
