I am a Civil-Structural-Architectural designer with extensive domestic and international experience. I have worked in LNG and EPC projects, including developing, coordinating, and supervising.
I have been using PDS FrameWorks (among other modeling softwares) for the last 20+ years in several Projects, which has given me a lot of experience detecting possible errors and potential problems before the deliverables are ready to be Issued for Construction.
For the last 3 projects I’ve been using PDMS to develop the 3D models and drawings for Steel, Concrete and Architectural…..

Over 25 years experience, sixteen with Kellogg Brown & Root (formerly M.W. Kellogg), a company that has its headquarters in Houston, Texas, where I also worked in some short and long term assignments.
Worked on LNG liquefaction facilities, Olefin Facilities, Multi-Units grassroots projects, Ethylene, Propylene, Ammonia plants, MTBE and Benzene, Coke and Urea plants.
For six years served as an Architect with Bufete Industrial, a Mexican engineering and construction company.

Worked for AMEC Americas in Saskatoon,Saskatchewan,Canada as a Contractor.
I worked in the CSA dept. in this Project, being developed in PDMS, doing 3D modeling of the Architectural Building Finishes and extracting drawings to generate the deliverables to be issued for construction, keeping the models/drawings updated and interacting with other disciplines.
I am also participating in concrete and steel models and drawings for several areas.

For AMEC Americas in Saskatoon,Saskatchewan,Canada as a Contractor.
Worked in the CSA dept. in this Project, being developed in PDS, doing 3D modeling of the Concrete Piles/Foundations and generating the Pile/Foundation schedules as the deliverables to be issued for construction, interacting with the Calgary office Leads for a seamless coordination of efforts, since the Project was mainly being developed in that office.

Worked for AMEC Americas in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan,Canada as a Contractor.
I worked for a portion of this PDMS project, generating the 3D models and extracting views to create all the concrete and steel drawings to be issued for Construction.
This was the first project using PDMS in the Saskatoon office.

Shell Canada Limited, an AMEC-COLT Joint Venture
Worked for AMEC Americas in Saskatoon,Saskatchewan,Canada as a Contractor.
I was the Lead Designer for a portion of this PDS project,which includes the development of 5 buildings,modeling the concrete foundations,piles,main steel,girts and purlins,miscellaneous steel,platforms,etc.,and generating the IFC drawings,checking interferences and having a daily communication with other disciplines involved in the process of this Project in the Calgary office,attending to the model reviews at different stages to ensure the quality of our models.

EPC Project with 5 major Units
As Lead Designer, I was responsible for technical developing, coordinating, reporting and directing the civil structural group of designers to ensure that the models were complete and the drawing issues were delivered on time.
I created, modified, updated the steel models using PDS FrameWorks, extracting the views to create the drawings to be issued for construction,using the proper scales,making sure that the drawings were complete,accurate and easy to read.
2004-2005 – Work Group Leader

complex, Secunda, Republic of South Africa.
As Work Group Leader, I was responsible for technical developing, coordinating, reporting and directing the civil structural group of designers
and the graphics activities, such as 3D modeling and drawings.

As Civil/ Structural Lead Designer, I was responsible for developing, coordinating, and directing the civil structural Designer’s activities.
I also created steel and concrete models, using PDS FrameWorks and FMS, making sure that there were no interferences with other elements in the models.
2000-2001 - Civil/Structural Designer
EPC - Q-Chem Project - Mesaieed Industrial City, State of Qatar
As Civil/Structural Designer, I was responsible of generating error free steel & concrete models and drawings for the Ethylene Unit.
I was assigned to the Houston offices for 6 months, working with PDS FrameWorks, creating various steel structures and Misc. steel.
1999-2000 – Senior Designer

As civil/structural Designer, I was responsible for developing, and generating error free computer generated steel & concrete models and drawings for this Olefins Plant, using PDS FrameWorks to create steel structures in the models, keeping them updated and checking for interferences.
