Setup/ Wire Drawer Operator
Setup and operation of a horizontal wiredrawing machine producing hollow wire filled with welding flux power.
The finished products were controlled to approximately .437 +/- .005-inch diameter.
The wire drawing machine fed directly into and was synchronized with a computer based cleaning system using abrasive cords and cleaning fluids.
Both required programming and precise adjustment for wire size and speeds through the drawing dies, horizontal and vertical rollers for a straight, twist-free product.
