WORK EXPERIENCE:
2013-2014. Production Supervisor, Allan Windows, Vaughan.
Monitors production for Crew under supervision and ensures optimum staff levels to achieve completion-production, quality and financial targets.
Evaluates team member’s performance. Provides ongoing, constructive feedback and addresses performance problems in a timely manner through training, coaching, and/or corrective action.
Ensures that documents, drawings, task cards or other necessary information are readily available for employees to complete assigned tasks.
Reviews engineering drawings to ensure all tooling, parts, material and other resources are ordered, organized and available prior to project commencement.
Prepares (work order control) or delegates appropriately to Crew Leader(s).
Front-line accountability for department cost-budget, supporting the Department Manager’s overall accountability for cost centre control.
Provides work-hour budgets for project completions and proposals.
Reviews and signs-off on task cards, inspection checklists and immediately forwards all completed documentation to quality/inspection representative.
Ensures that Lean Visual Management documents are in use and maintained as tasks are completed.

Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications and directs set-up and adjustments of machines.
It is my responsibility to run all machinery as scheduled by the Scheduling department. If necessary, draw people from Inspect and Pack department and cover 100% of your scheduled parts. Any shortcomings make alternate arrangements and ensure parts are available prior to the shipping window.
