Description:

The thesis study of Project Details with the preventive maintence and corrective measures that can be taken at appropriative time to maintain the uniqueness of a mass production unite. I done the project at Hyundai Motor India limited. This project involves the usage of Air Purging Process and Hobbing process.

Air Purging System:An air purge system is used to flush electrical control equipment with clean air before it is turned on. This ensures that the functionality of the equipment is not affected or damaged by the contaminants from the surrounding environment.

Air Requriments:Air drawn through the system must be clean, dry and oil free in order to protect the delicate optical equipment including mirrors and lenses. It is crucial that the design of the system ensures that the flow of air does not draw in any contaminants from outside sources.

Air Purging Blow System:Blowers provide clean air to prevent contamination of electrical and optical surfaces from dirt, corrosive gases and overheating. Mains electricity is responsible for powering the blower’s motor.

Air Mover System:This type of system can only be used when there is little or no back pressure because they generate lower pressure and airflow. Air mover functionality is based on the venturieffect. A small amount of high velocity air connected to the side of the casting passes out through a nozzle, creating venturi action. This effect causes a large volume of low velocity air to flow through the venturi and out of the air diffuser.The ratio of air supplied depends on the design of the air mover’s physical structure.
