I have a strong background in leadership and management and work incredibly well with a team. oManage the restaurant while making sure clients and staff are happy.

oMaintain labour costs at a low level all the while ensuring the customers have top notch service.

Sales Skills

Private dining sales have increased over 40% in the 2 years that I was the Event Coordinator at Ruth’s Chris Steak House.

I planned and participated in multiple trade shows to promote the business.

Networking Skills

I am currently a member of the board of MPI, acting as the Co-VP of Sponsorship. I was also the representative for Ruth’s Chris Steak House at the Calgary Chamber of Commerce events.

oBeing a part of these groups enabled me to meet a lot of people in many industries and inform these new connections about products and services available to them via my company.

Marketing Skills

I managed the marketing department, and presented a yearly marketing plan for the restaurants’ success.

I oversaw all social media. This included sending all relevant information to the marketing team, making sure their vision represented the company, and that the end result embodied all corporate standards.

I found new ways to market to new customers, such as:

oEntering in the Bridal and Wedding Fairs each year, which increased our sales for weddings.

oTalked to organizations around the city that would put up signage for us at minimal to no charge.

oJoined multiple organizations (MPI/Chamber of Commerce) to verbally market our company.
