Topology optimization of control arm using Radioss for linear analysis and Optistruct for structural optimization.

Analyzed the mast of sail boat yacht for wind loads using Ansys and optimized it using modeFRONTIER. Parameterization was used to automatically control the variables in Ansys.

Finite element analysis of 1D and 2D static linear, thermal, and nonlinear material analysis using matlab codes and comparison of results in Ansys.

Thermomechanical coupled finite element analysis of structural member conducting electricity using matlab codes

GRADUATE RESEARCH ASSISTANT January 2014-August2015

Studied the acoustical and vibration properties of reiterated hierarchical honeycomb sandwich panels under dynamic loading conditions.

Vibration characteristics of a car interior was studied using a fluid structure interaction FEA model. The sound pressure level near the driver seat was identified due to air pressure outside the car.

Natural frequency extraction of honeycomb structures with matlab using Euler-Bernoulli beam elements.

Modal and frequency response analysis of sandwich honeycomb panel to study the vibration characteristics of the panel.

Compared the effect of Rayleigh damping and structural damping on sound transmission properties of honeycomb panels.

-Design and Development of Backhoe loader components in Unigraphics

-Analysis of design

Worked on theoretical calculation to modify existing stabilizer leg design in order to optimize mass of backhoe loader chassis. Performed structural calculations, setting up of boundary conditions for analysis and comparison of FEA results. The setup consisted of welded joints, bearings and mounting brackets of hydraulic ram to chassis.

Designed pin for tipping lever of loader arm of Backhoe loader and Non return valve.

Analyzed the torque acting on the driveshaft through a synchromesh gear box and torque convertor

Computed stack up analysis of king post assembly and analyzed forces acting on a connecting rod of a Backhoe loader.

Engineering sign off of Engine mounts and Dump switch-Performed theoretical calculation, designed experiments, developed test rigs, jigs and conducted field trials.

Developed engine fan, battery cables, precleaner assembly, hydraulic pipes and tubes.
