Experience

Acker Construction Mar. 2015-Sep. 2015

Laid concrete, built Batter boards, Ran reinforced steel. Worked on tasks independently as well as with a carpentry team, consistently constructed projects that were square and level. I identified and requested all and any PPE necessary to perform tasks. Operated a terrain telescoping forklift, backhoe, skid steer and tractor. Operated skill saws and other pneumatics equipment. Installed floor jointers, trusses and rafter. Cut timber, panels and other materials according to measured dimensions.

Performance Contracting Inc. Dec. 2013-Mar. 2015

Monitored loading to ensure that materials were loaded to specifications, performed maintenance on conveyor belts, cleaned coal spills using skid steer or a tractor hoe.

GE Oil & Gas Jan. 2012-Dec. 2013

Assembled components using hand and power tools such as wellheads, separators and other oilfield equipment for the big oil companies, I also sandblasted and painted. We would have a major oil and gas company like XTO bring in a Well head with a leak and we would first run a high pressure test on it to see where the leak was, and if it was one that could be repaired we would break the entire valve down clean it, grind it, then replace all the ring gaskets, grease everything, run another pressure test, sandblast and repaint them for shipping. In other cases we would have a pre ordered wellhead to assemble from the ground up using the blueprints after it was fully assembled we would paint them and do the paper work for shipping. We had a lot to do with chokes, tubing’s, casings, Christmas tree, and annulus valves.
