Company is unaware of my intentions of possibly getting something closer to home. I commute to Idaho and stay the week there. I was hired to run the Lindon, Utah shop and was supposed to be placed in Idaho temporarily. I manage the shop techs, train them, and overlook all repairs and services. I work with ADP to manage and build work orders. I take care of all customer relations for this location. And I file and collect on the warranties.
Bonneville Equipment Company 10/01/2010 -08/01/2014
Sandy, Utah
Service Manager
(Do not contact, ask me first) Left company to work for Peterbilt.
I was in charge of all customer and internal repairs and warranties. I dealt with customers, salesman, and all vendors.
I built work orders and I gave them to the technicians, monitor, track, and inspect all jobs. I have my own protocol that
I follow and maintain at a very successful rate. I give my customers very thorough quotes and I keep them updated on
their repairs daily. I communicate through each step, quote, parts, labor, etc.. with each customer. My comeback rate
is nonexistent as I thoroughly check each job before it leaves the shop. I maintain an excellent relationship with customers.
I am also in charge of maintaining and producing the rental fleet for Bonneville Equipment. I build and PDI all new pieces
of equipment. Bonneville Equipment is a construction equipment and tractor dealership. They sell Kubota and JCB’s.
Since my time with this company, quarterly profit within the shop has tripled along with the amount of technicians and
shop helpers. When I took over at this company, there were 4 technicians and 1 yard/shop helper. There is now 11
techs and 4 yard/shop helpers. Warranty and campaigns/recalls have had higher completion rates as well. I have updated
the shop and yard making them compliant to city, state, and federal regulations. I kept a clean and safe shop and I
always looked for ways to be more efficient and improve. I hold weekly safety meetings with my employees and I track
their production. I strive to keep all technicians on profitable work orders. I am successful at delegating each job to the
right technician to gain maximum profitability.
