Instrumental in construction and development of new molds for LFA model launch
Developed and implemented the process for LFA program from the design and development stage through full production including Fit, Form, and Function testing and requirements
Worked hand in hand with Quality Engineer and Production Supervisor to improve product quality, and create a more efficient process.
Created process documentation informing operators of acceptable production parameters as is mandatory for compliance with T.S. audit requirements (work instructions)
Conducted 5Y analysis when nonconforming parts were produced also wrote and submitted countermeasures and action plans to prevent future part defects
Maintained a less than 3% daily scrap rate throughout the entire department while increasing daily output by 1.5%.
Results were achieved by possessing a firm understanding of the process, and having a working knowledge of all supplier materials.
Duties included setting heat parameters such as temperature setting and oven dwell times, press pressing times and pressing pressure, regulation of mold temperatures, and alignment of raw material entering the press.
Required to perform root cause analysis, and study of generated data to improve process, and eliminate caused defects. Such analysis led to a reduction of orifice replacements needed by the water jet robots used to cut produced headliners. The result was an annual reoccurring cost savings of over $50,000 dollars.
Interacted with customers on a regular basis if issues arose. Responsible for resolving customer complaints through the manipulation of process settings while maintaining documented program parameters regarding all headliner products.

EPP Supervisors in the steam molding department were responsible for overseeing more than 30 employees in the day to day operations of the EPP Department.
Responsibilities included employee training, payroll entry, disciplinary counseling, daily allocation of department resources, implementation of departmental 5's standards, and other projects assigned by the department manager.
Successfully managed being tasked with responsibility of reorganizing offsite shipping facility to better accommodate the needs of the EPP Department while maintaining product flow and F.I.F.O according to the requirements of the logistics department.

Tasked with the maintaining 5’s and safety requirements throughout the entire facility as it applied to the position of mold setter
Successfully participated in as well as led many S.M.E.D events with the objective of reducing the average mold change time, and decreasing the amount of scrap produced at mold start up
