Invoice Department Lead
I am working as the Lead for the invoicing team, and implementing a new process with our data base, and data fix provider in order to get information corrected prior to handing off to carriers. I have been balancing my team working multiple lists for accounts with various reasons for discrepancies found between data tables, and making progress with refining searches to mass fix as much as possible. I am also in charge of the SHOP (Small Business) market and ensuring the invoices get corrected when employers make updates.

I have learned how to read 820 transactions, EDI files, and Abila as well as many other tools to get accurate information on the accounts. I have learned how to analyze the root cause of problems and get them addressed in a timely manner. I learned many policies pertaining to grace periods, enrollment dates, eligibility updates, and account updates.

I gained more experience as a supervisor working with a both crews. I worked at becoming more knowledgeable about how every job function impacts the other job functions, and what can be done to ensure smooth flow throughout the day. I also trained many of my associates on various piece of equipment such as: Pallet Jack, Reach Truck, Pacer, and Order Picker. During this time I also worked as the Site Performance Manger overseeing both shifts and multiple job functions to ensure all the customers’ needs where met with quality and accuracy.

I learned how to supervise a crew of 8-16 workers and how to solve problems that occurred in order to have minimal impact to production, and get the job done safety and accurately. I set my roster up every night and crossed trained enough associates to be able to get the work done that was needed no matter the job function.
