PDS PIPING DESIGNER

SUMMARY

I have more than 30 years designing piping systems, power,

refinery,

brewery and pharmaceutical. Also have used CAD for the last 15

years

AutoCAD and MicroStation. Ten years plus experience working with 3D

PDS in both a supervisory role and as an end user.

Responsibilities during that time include modeling complex

equipment,

designing and modeling piping. Also have 5 plus years working in

and designing Nuclear power plants.

WORK HISTORY

Foster Wheeler April 2014 to Jan 2015 Houston, TX

Modeled existing equipment and new equipment for an Ethylene Tower

in PDS. Added new pumps, heat exchangers and reboilers. Designed

piping systems to replace most of existing pipe while adding new

piping to increase output of plant by 50%.

Belcan for Bayer in Baytown, TX May 2013 to Feb 2014. Baytown,

TX

PDS piping, make field sketches of tie-ins and existing pipe then

put them in PDS models.

Jacobs Eng. Baton Rouge, LA Aug 2012 to Feb 2013.

PDS piping program to run new lines and to run lines to tie-ins

and revised existing pipe. I used laser scan LFM to model existing

pipe I also modeled

new and existing equipment for a refinery.

PDS piping, make field sketches of tie-ins and existing pipe in PDS

PDS Senior Piping Designer: Designing piping in pipe racks,

modeling sample system piping. Designed a heat exchanger cleaning

pad and associated piping. Also checked isometrics for quality

assurance. Used Microstation to update drawings.

PDS Senior Piping Designer: Logistics & Tankage, CEP, Motiva, Port

Arthur, Texas .

Design piping for the Push Pull system using PDS, PDN 22, piping on
