As PC& L Lead Supervisor it was my responsibility to manage shipping, receiving, conveyance, production planning, production scheduling, and containment of product. I directly oversaw 24 team members on 1st shift; however I shared management responsibilities with 2nd and 3rd shift. I maintained shipments for Cummins, Volvo, Hino, Detroit Diesel, and John Deere. I have implemented kanban systems by using my experience with the TPS system and utilizing standards taken from the Faurecia Excellence System. Reduce inventory by 44%, this also diminished the inventory variances that the company had experienced. Through kaizen activities I increased the DLE for my department by reducing direct labor.

I have investigated an array of cases including; sex offenses, burglary, theft, battery, PD accidents, criminal mischief, runaways, drug interdiction, fraud, harassment, DUI both alcohol and drug, miscellaneous alarms, served warrants, and consensual contacts. I have conducted my own interrogations along with assisting the Department of Child Services with interviews. I am a certified Breath Test Operator through the State Department of Toxicology. During the FTO program I was exposed to drug interdiction and the Narcotics division of the department. During this training I learned how to use traffic stops and consensual contacts to make drug arrests.

Shipping Supervisor

I was the 2nd shift-shipping supervisor. It was my job to ensure that product was shipped out of the facility correctly and in a timely matter. Receiving phone calls from customers and trucking companies; dealing with shipment changes and trucking issues was also apart of my job. I was in charge of 15 – 32 people depending on the time of year. Standardized work and following the requirements of the TPS (Toyota Production Systems) was the key to my success at work. We were challenged at Aisin to reduce cost and improve sales profits. I have been a part of many projects, which have saved the company thousands of dollars.

Volunteer experience

I was president of the Seymour area Jaycees for 5 years. Our foundation worked hand in hand with the community providing help where it was needed. We also had annual charity events including, a car show, a haunted house, and car washes in which we designated money for different charitable purposes. It was my duty as president to coordinate and plan events and special projects. I was also expected to be the public speaker for our group when dealing with the community.
