Operations Manager

Successfully managed all Warehouse activities and operations in a 300,000 square foot shared warehouse for major Electronics client (Panasonic). Responsible for all receiving (inbound scheduling for Ocean and Land based containers, airfreight, processing, put away, and RMA customer returns), shipping (E-commerce, overnight, FedEx, UPS parcels, LTL, and Truckload orders), Daily Cycle Count and monthly Physical Inventory and VAS special projects as requested by customer. Managed a staff of 2 Supervisors (Receiving and Shipping / Inventory Control) and 23 Material Handlers over 2 shifts and managed a Customer Service Supervisor and 3 Customer Service Representatives. Main liaison with Panasonic on - Site Representative. Provided direction to other KN staff when required. Managed, tracked, and reported on a weekly and monthly basis all KPI’s for Warehouse operations relative to Panasonic activities. Implemented Housekeeping policies and program in accordance with Kuehne-Nagel requirements.

Increased pallet rack storage by 366 pallet spaces by recommending splitting the lower level rack locations, resulting in total lower level rack storage increasing to 732 pallet spaces and opening up 366 full pallet spaces from the second to fourth levels.
