Developed and implemented a growth-oriented, results-focused strategic planning process for a $400M organization that resulted in better integration of short-term objectives with long-range goals, stronger interdepartmental communication and improved linkage between action plans and performance management.

As part of a select team, formulated a five-year strategic plan for a $1B company that resulted in better integration between short-term operational plans and long-range strategic plans. Served as Executive on Loan for one year to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to chair the Red Bull Inaugural Indianapolis GP Local Organizing Committee, ensuring over 70,000 race fans and city residents enjoyed a spectacular weekend during the first international motorcycle race held in Indianapolis. Coordinated volunteer ambassadors to greet race fans arriving at the airport from all over the world and provided entertainment for race fans by spearheading three community events.

Co-chaired a team that designed a new customer bill for Indiana Bell that was selected as the Ameritech regional standard bill. Tested and implemented the new bill with no interruption in delivery of customer bills or cash flow.

Promoted the importance of continuous field sales training for over 140 B2B sales representatives which resulted in greater involvement by the Regional Sales Managers in day-to-day coaching of the representatives and the eventual hiring of a professional sales trainer.

Revenue Enhancement / Fiscal Accountability

Generated $4M in sales by organizing trade shows in twelve different cities over a two year period, showcasing the company’s eight proprietary brands and involving 80+ vendors.

Provided marketing and analytical support for a sales promotion that generated $3.3M in sales and created 2,961 new points of distribution for key product lines.

Increased market share of ATV parts sales through state-by-state analysis on parts sales compared to new unit sales and identifying target states foe increased sales emphasis.

Increased sales of a new brand of motorcycle apparel by $500K or 10% in one year through analysis of sales trends, sales promotions and enhanced sales training.
