JOB DESCRIPTION:

Policy:

-Implementing HSE Policy.

-Maintain and apply knowledge of current Policies regulations. Training:

- Responsible for the safety induction video for new employees and contractors

-New employees’ orientations (HSE) /Induction and Training.

-Record keeping /maintain safety and training activity records and logs as required by regulation and company policy.

-Develop and introduce periodic safety training.

Procedures:

-Follow up the safety procedures and make sure of their application on site.

-Develop distribute and maintain the HSE procedures.

-Reviewing contractors safety plan, procedures and performance to ensure company requirement are met.

Inspection:

-Receive Review and distributes safety Inspection reports with recommended corrective actions.

-Site daily inspection /Performing daily Site HSE inspection and supervision.

-Conduct Health and Safety inspection as a member of committee.

-Identify and review various Health and Safety concerns specific to the work site.

-Expedite the closing out of any non conformances and corrective actions through the construction group as a result of inspection or audit carried out.

-Follow the Global Health and safety Management System (GHSMS).

-Represents Management during Safety inspection of the job site.

-Assist management in the administration, implementation and maintenance of the Global health and safety management system.

-Any Imminent Danger will be immediately brought to the individual concern and it should be reported to the project manager/Division/HSE coordinator/ HSE manager in case of the work requiring to be ceased.

-Attend the weekly safety Tool Box talk meeting.

-Conducting Daily Tool Box Talks (As per The Company Risk Assessment Program Step Back 2x2- Personnel & Team systems).

-Reporting all unsafe conditions and unsafe acts and provides counsel for safe procedures and requirement.

-Assist Site management in writing method statements and risk assessments for work being carried out by direct staff.

-Reviews risk assessment for upcoming work and provide technical assistance to the safety planning process.

-Identification of the hazard process and control measurements.

-Confirm that all personnel under our responsibility review the JSA and the control measures are established and respected.

-HSE action plan with HSE manager.

Meeting:

-Attend and make reports of meetings with "STEG" client.

-Assisting and reporting the HSE meetings.

-Preparing the daily/weekly and monthly safety report.

-Prepare monthly reports (Summary of HSE performance). (Corporate requirements, states effective, Training, Communication, confinable incidents Audit:

-Conducting H&S monthly audit.

-Participate in external corporate Health & Safety Audit:

-Supervision of the activities on site according to their description in permit to work

(PTW).

-Helps in the maintenance of an efficient accident record system and coordinate action taken by supervisors to eliminate causes.
