Work experience at Catholic Development Centre
I have worked for Catholic Development Centre (C.D.C) which is based in Mthatha as an Environmental Officer.
Based on the principal law of the constitution (Section 24) regarding the Environment and the Amendment introduced after the law based on the Environmental Management which is National Environmental Management Act no.107 of 1998 and its SEMA’s :-we conduct Greening of schools and communities around Mthatha
Conduct awareness campaigns on Environmental Issues degrading the Environment.
Based on the waste Hierarchy we encourage stakeholders to make use of the three R’s
Cleaning campaigns around the Mthatha City Hall and Luchaba Nature Reserve
Recycling site Establishment in slovo community.
Work experience at Mthonyama Technologies
I have worked for Mthonyama Technologies, private organisation that is Mthatha based as an ENVIRONMENTAL Assessment PR actioner from May 2014 to September 2010. It was contract of four months then it ended. My job description was to cover EIA based projects according to the Law of National Environmental Management Act and its EIA regulations of 18 June 2010.
