Set and tuned the physical property testing targets of more than two dozen rubber compounds as well as numerous non-rubber raw materials (fabric and wire) used in civilian and military aircraft tires contracted to America and her allies. Added and altered tests based on changing business needs. Adjusted mixing and processing parameters to meet corporate specs based on relevant lab testing results.

Responsible for the quality and waste of processing of these components on calenders (gum and fabric), extruders, and shears; troubleshooting and eliminating variation, driving process improvement at both the plant and the corporate level, and reporting of quality trends to management up to the director level.

Heavily involved in development of new compounds, components, and process methods to develop and perfect entirely new technologies. Developed and delivered reports on testing and processing and made recommendations on possibility of industrialization.

Developed and industrialized manufacturing and oversaw die development for new manufacturing processes including silicone, high viscosity heavily loaded compounds, and polymer blends.
