Professional Experience

Over Fifteen years of teaching experience ranging from GCSE up to foundation degree level.

Currently holding the position of Teacher/Coordinator of ICT at an international school (name withheld due to contract constraints) following the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP and MYP) in Dubai.

(August 2013-till date) Foundation Stage - Primary

Responsibilities includes but not limited to:

Co-ordinating ICT and using ICT lessons to enhance learning in the primary school using the transdisciplinary programme of inquiry, across the subject areas, the IB learner profile, and the essential elements of the PYP.

Creating and initiating digital learning engagements such as BYOD programmes through the provision and use of ICT.

Providing opportunities for the transformation of teaching and learning and enabling students to investigate, create, communicate, collaborate, organize and be responsible for their own learning and actions.
