Responsible for analyzing drawings, piping isometrics, P&IDs, specifications, and data sheets that are required for conducting material take-offs and generating bills of materials. Example Activities:

Develop cost estimates by analyzing total quantities and weights of materials.

Compiling and analyzing material quotes from national and international vendors.

Traveled to Saudi Arabia to assist site supervisors in resolving issues with the construction contractor regarding interconnecting piping on a steam methane reformer.

Support management audits of project charges by reviewing isometric drawings, comparing the total number of welds performed versus the number required by design, and identifying excess.

Responsible for training estimators in the Houston, TX and home office. LINDE ENGINEERING NORTH AMERICA, Blue Bell, PA

Piping Engineer (Contractor)

6/2013 to 8/2013

Responsible for analyzing piping isometrics for interconnecting piping on an ethylene furnace located in Texas. Compared design requirements of pipe length and welds to those used in the field to resolve a discrepancy with the construction contractor. Analysis results reported to management to resolve project overcharges.

LINDE ENGINEERING NORTH AMERICA, Blue Bell, PA

Mechanical Designer (Contractor)

10/2013 to 11/2012

Organized and prepared engineering documentation, specifications, drawings and certificates for preliminary submittal, as well as validated the accuracy of engineering documents for an Ethylene furnace plant located in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
