Shuttle Systems Fuel Team Member

Served as a member on the I.C.E. team. We studied ice formation on the external tank of the shuttle fleet. We were able to limit the amount of false bonds on bi- -pods that protected the LOX feed lines by reducing the size and bond procedures.

Hypergolic Scape Operations

Dispatched to the hypergolic fuel farms to perform Scape operations prior to the day of Launch to repair a severe fuel leak, my teammate and I were able to use our broad knowledge and salvage the motor spline that pumps the fuel up to the Orbital maneuvering systems pods.

Return to Flight

Appointed a member of the Night owl Team which allowed NASA to add a third shift to work around the clock. With our teams vast certifications we were able to work on any type of system failure that occurred with a limited number of team members.
