Hired as a Supervisor tasked with the challenge of leading hourly employees in improving the press room performance from 52% efficiency to the industry standard of 85% efficiency in order to quote and receive new as well as takeover business. Promoted to Operations Manager in January 2013 and given the goal of transforming a 40,000 square foot facility into an 85,000 square foot facility to prove to the Genesee customer base that the Genesee team could handle the new and takeover business. While filling the dual role of Supervisor and Manager I was responsible for the training of all employees in Quality, Safety, Production Reporting, 5S and Scrap Reduction. Tasked with the responsibility of conducting interviews, hiring new employees, payroll reporting and handling any issues related to the operations of the facility.
