As an Instrument Engineer, my role is planning and execution of below responsibilities by coordinating

with engineering, construction & Project manager.

Job Responsibilities

o Review & modification of Instrument Index, Instrument Data Sheet, Hook-up drawings &

other related engineering documents.

o Planning the priority for construction with project engineer & project manager.

o Line-up the inspections according to the schedule.

o Providing technical support to the site team during construction.

o Organizing the witnessing of Pre-commissioning activities by his team.

o Ensure a daily follow-up of the Progress of all activities against planning and recommend any

necessary corrective action.

o Coordination between construction & QA/QC.

o Coordination with the client for inspection.

o Prepare and attend all meetings requiring the presence of the discipline leader.

o Participating in Daily and Weekly reports for the Instrument discipline.

o Reporting to Engineering Manager on progress of all activities and on changes to basis for

design.

o Collecting data/information from PID, other Engineering drawings.

o Review and check technical vendor submittals for installation requirements.

o Support sub-contractor in preparation loop folder, providing them all required drawings &

ILD etc.

o Provide assistance to field troubleshooting team.

o Prepare some modification design at site (as-built) with coordination with project engineer.

o Supervise all Loop checking activities from preparing loop folder till performing loop

checking at site.

o Coordination with vendors for modification & up gradation of programming for DCS.

o Supervise all instruments calibration, installation, pre-commissioning testing &

commissioning.

o Supervise of all RFI & walkthroughs for Instrument discipline.

o Coordination with sub-con & QC for closing all punches.

o Perform SIT & SAT of panels inside SIS with coordination of Vendor & Client.

Objective

Project:

SATORP JUBAIL EXPORT REFINERY PROJECT, KSA

As an ICAPS Administrator, my role was planning and execution of below responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities

o Control of ICAPS database (consistency, discrepancy) to ensure the milestone.

o Control & validate data import from engineering database into ICAPS.

o Provide appropriate check sheets, test sheets, punch lists & reports to PM & SM.

o Ensure the ICAPS database is well parameterized, populated for pre-commissioning activities.

o Prepare & implement detail ICAPS management procedure & work flow.

o Verify & monitor the preparation of pre-commissioning & commissioning activities.

o Prepare Opercom sheets.

o Participate in completion meeting.

o Expedite to accelerate construction, commissioning & completion activities.

o Provide complete assistance & support to punch list management team.

o Person in-charge to organize completion & acceptance walk through of RFC, RFSU &

RFISU.

o Providing complete documentation & assistance for final walk through.

o Maintaining & updating the database & progress reports.

o Preparing & updating Pre-commissioning & commissioning dossiers.

As Punch Coordinator, my role was planning and execution of below responsibilities.

o Review and consolidate the entire punch list items identified during the

Walkthroughs/Inspections to ensure the correct categorization as outlined by Project

specification prior to input in the ICAPS.

o Interface with Client in cases of disagreed/discussed punch items.

o Notify newly added items to the concern punch killing team.

o Identify and Prioritize the Punches as per the Project schedule and ongoing commissioning

activities.

o Follow up with Contractor/Sub-Contractor Punch killing teams to expedite for closure and

solution of the punch items.

o Expedite the review and signing off the completed punch items by the responsible authorities

so as to ensure the completion of the Systems and Subsystems in a timely manner.

o Distribution of the reports and exchange of database exports on daily and weekly basis.

o Notify items deemed closed.

o Closely monitor outstanding punches and Coordinate with Construction /Commissioning /

Engineering /Procurement Teams and sub-contractors for Punch Killing.

o Coordination with Quality/Commissioning Team for Punch Verification.

o Attend daily meeting with Subsystem Owners to expedite the punch closing and Pre-Com

Task to accelerate the Commissioning activities.

o Attend daily meeting with Construction/Commissioning Team to expedite the

Reinstatements/Flushing and Punch clearance.

o Attend Bi-Weekly meeting with Client to discuss the current status, next week plan and

ongoing issues.

Sui Southern Gas Company Ltd.

Worked as Instrument Supervisor (Operation & Maintenance) from Jan.2010 till Mar.2012.

Job Responsibilities

o Installation & Commissioning of Instruments on pipeline and RTUs.
