PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Operations Manager 2003 - 2015
Warrenton Steel, LLC
Warrenton, MO
In 2003 my father sold the Sears Dealer Store and purchased a small business, Warrenton Steel. We started with 4 employees to grow to 25 and $900,000 to over $4,000,000. The inventory and accounting documentation was entirely manual. Computers and QuickBooks were purchased and I set up our inventory, sales forms and accounts to help manage our business. I implemented the daily operating procedures for sales, accounting and deliveries.
Store Manager 2000 - 2003
Carter Management Co., dba Sears Authorized Dealer Store
Warrenton, MO
I left my career at Grainger to work for my father in new business he had purchased. I managed our inventory, deliveries, daily business and constant changing of displays dictated by Sears. Customer Satisfaction was the greatest challenge in this retail environment.
Customer Service Manager 1994 - 2000
WW Grainger, Inc
Jonesboro, AR
I was transferred to Jonesboro, AR and promoted to Customer Service Manager in the fall of 1994. I operated in the role of an Assistant Manager. I was responsible for $1,000,000 that was in our warehoused inventory. I was the only person in our Region to have full access to inventory management. Inventory was managed through our Regional Management office for the other branches. I completed the Management Training Program and was ready for a Branch Manager position. I had begun interviewing for a Management position when I left the company.
Counter Sales 1993 - 1994
WW Grainger, Inc
Maryland Heights, MO
In 1993 I was promoted to Counter Sales and backed up phone sales as necessary. I worked with the Warehouse and Branch Manager with the accuracy of our inventory. I was a member of our first Quality Action Team when the Quality Program was implemented.
Material Handler 1990 - 1993
WW Grainger, Inc

I began my career at Grainger as a Material Handler. I unloaded trucks, stocked freight, picked and packed orders. Soon I began working as the Lead Shipper, coordinating the afternoon shipping activities.
