Sourcing Manager/Buyer Planning Supervisor

Supporting the NPI, Sourcing, and Project Management of programs specific to the NA manufacturing facilities. As a manager I had to align with the appropriate Global Commodity Managers to ensure strategies are implemented, resources prioritized, etc. Participate in process improvement efforts and identify opportunities for efficiency (whether it is process efficiencies, technology improvements, ect.) Lead Plant Programs where they deal directly with Sourcing: Bringing on new Suppliers, Qualification, Cost Reductions, etc. Manage the entry of RFI’s RFQ’s and Auctions with the Sourcing Tools. Assist in expedite and component emergency scenarios outside of the buyer/planner role. Indentify savings opportunities via the data analysis and look for data anomalies. Supervise Materials Planning Group. Update and maintain Master Production schedules based on current production plans. Effectively control consignment inventories with suppliers.
