MINOR PROJECT

Detection of obstacle for blind person using ultrasonic sensor:

The obstacle can be detected ranging upto 3-5 meters by using ultrasonic sensor which is a transceiver .A microcontroller 8051(AT89C51) is used which is connected to a liquid display and beep buzzer. On sensing any obstacle in the range of 3-5 m the buzzer will beep.

MAJOR PROJECT

Mobile phone based street light control system:

The street light control system consists of PIC microcontroller and DTMF decoder, which on setting of time delays switches ON/OFF the street lights and sends the update through a phone to the specified phone number. On receiving a call or an SMS the system will decode it and finds the particular street light which needs to be turned on/off.
