Experiences as Scrum Master:

- In both companies, I contributed for dozen of projects successful by training and implementing the scrum process into the several IT projects, being mentor and coach of the scrum teams, helping the product owners and development team to understand scrum philosophy, rules.

- Working closely to product owner, I could help him/her to understand the best approach to have the product quickly described, organized into the project backlog and detailed enough that development team

could understand exactly what need to be done and got enough information to achieve project’s goal and

- For both teams (product owner and developers), I kept all the time monitoring and interacting with them, as a coach to make them understand what and when needed to be done, avoiding any issue or blocker from outside and helping them getting all technical or business issues and doubts quickly solved. It was also important to keep communicating and updating external teams and managers to make sure they understood scrum’s philosophy and benefits and avoid they were against an agile environment, once most people didn’t believe Scrum can work well for software development

- For each sprint, I run the Sprint Planning meeting, monitoring constantly the discussions to ensure product owner had proper information to explain to developers and development team understood exactly each sprint backlog item and how they would get done. During each 4 weeks of the sprint, I worked closely to development team to make sure they had daily scrum meeting, what had to be done was done and everyone in the team knew what they would make in current day. I also was all the time worried about what had blocked or avoid them to not complete some item. All team could monitor the sprint progress by checking the burn down chart I updated daily

- My technical knowledge and my project manager experiences helped me to leading teams and explore

skills of all the team in order to get an agile environment the best possible to work, interesting, motivational and successful for each sprint. The Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective meetings were very important to increase monthly the team interaction, quality and successful
