PROJECT EXPERIENCE:
Title: Design and Fabrication of composite material by Equal Channel Angular Pressing (ECAP).
Description:
Since aluminum is light in weight and boron carbide is strong in its characteristics, next to diamond as a hard metal. 95% of aluminum and 5% of boron carbide is mixed together and casting is done for the mixed powder by the ECAP process, which binds the molecules close to each other and makes the metal strong. Also various properties where analyzed and found that this mixture gives best results than aluminum which can be used in applications where aluminum is used.
Title: Analysis of severe plastic deformation of composite material through Equal Channel Angular Pressing.
Description:
Since aluminum is light in weight and boron carbide is strong in its characteristics next to diamond as hard metal. 95% of aluminum and 3% of boron carbide powders is mixed together by the ECAP process which binds the molecules close to each other and make the metal strong so that various properties where analyzed and found that this mixture gives best results than aluminum.
