Manager Plant Engineering

It is a half million ton per year ( MTPY) ERW STEEL PIPE manufacturing facilities located in the state of Texas to supply the oil drilling casing tubes ( OCTG ) as per API standards . Plant has capacity to produce 2.375” to 10 “ diameter of casing pipes attached with heat treatment & finishing line to supply ready to use product .

Key job responsibilities includes but not limited to control the maintenance cost to produce a ton of steel pipe by studying equipment health & its effect on product specification. This derives & dig into development of maintenance practices, operational practices, modification of existing equipment, derive of capex project & implementation of solution.

This required a daily coordination with plant electrical, mechanical, utility, automation, instrumentation, safety, logistic, quality, accounting, maintenance & production team.

The key role is to organize & resolve inter department conflict to achieve business goal which includes mentoring & training of plant personnel.

Recently completed two brown field projects to improve the plant efficiency by removing bottle necks work of 10 Million USD .

Took over the challenging assignment to complete & put back Rs 2500 Cr project of 2MTPY PLATE & COIL and later the billet facility into operation successfully .
