EDUCATION BACKGROUND

Master in Biomdecial Engineering Aug.2014 – June.2015

School of CBE, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore

Bachelor in Bioengineering Sep.2010 – June.2014

School of Chemical Engineering&Technology, China University of Mining and Technology

Completed Courses: Physical Chemistry (95), Bioengineering in Energy (91), Microbiology (92), Fermentation Engineering (96), Advanced Cell Biology (A+), etc

Dissertation: Study the regulatory role of angiotensin peptides in brown adipocyte differentiation.

A fundamental research that studying whether angiotensin can promote brown adipocyte differentiation so that cure obesity.

ACADEMIC RESEARCHS

National College Students' Innovative Training Program May.2012 –May.2014

Project Title: Screening, Isolation & Identification of Coal Mine Gas Producing Microorganisms

Advisor: Prof. XIAO Lei & Prof. HUANG Guanhua

Content: Conducted comparative experiments to figure out the factors influencing methane bacteria producing gas

Methods: The same species of methanogens were cultivated for measuring their methane production in the same incubation time. The experiment was conducted by changing the factors of temperature, PH, coal particle size, and the source of coal comparison.

Results: Methanogens’ gas production is ideal at the temperature of 35 ; gas production presented better results when PH value hits 8; smaller size of coal particle can be better used by methanogens; different organic material in coal from different sources directly affect the gas production.
