Proficient in Venipuncture and IV therapy skills, male and female, foley cath and suprapubic insertions, g-tube insertions, tube feedings via Kangaroo pump and bolus feedings, staple and suture removal. Experienced in all wound care therapies, including the newest techniques and products, and Wound vac applications, PICC line, mediport care and access to lines, drawing blood, and IV infusions. Experience in dosing Coumadin per PT/INR levels per MD orders. Knowledgeable in state and government regulations, such as OASIS, including Admissions, Recertifications, Resumptions of care after hospital stay, and Discharges. Knowledgeable of MCR, MCD and private insurances for reimbursements.
