Research Experience

Published a research paper about proximal pain. The goal was to determine the efficiency of both nerve block and analgesia with regard to pain elimination. Besides, I handled the mixing of compounds that formed the morphine such as Fentanyl and midazolam. As a result, analgesia turned out to be more effective; this research is useful for patient’s pain.

Had engaged in research with Professor Yan ( acrfcu@r.postjobfree.com ) regarding optical fiber etching (Nanotechnology ) for 5 months. I was responsible for supplying hydrofluoric acid which would be used for etching optical fiber. The goal was to figure out the proper pulling speed of optical fibers from HF as well as the length of the fiber that had to be immersed into HF. The research is helpful with regard to studying the cellular properties.

Performed all the labs individually since multiple classes overlapped, the professor only offered me a chance of working individually. The labs were gas chromatography, liquid chromatography, atomic absorption spectroscopy, and spectrophotometer

Job Experience

Worked for UPS in Oceanside CA for two years. Starting in September 2007 until March 2009. Customer Service Representative. Slight amount of experience in technical field.

Worked as bookkeeping in library at Mira Costa College Oceanside Ca for two years. Starting in July 2009 until February 2010.

Worked as a biotechnologist in biotechnology lab in Carlsbad high School Carlsbad Ca for 3 months. Earned a certificate in this field. Have done several experiments regarding biotechnology.
