Objective
My objective is to be employed by a company in which I can use my abilities to advance my experience as well as advance within the company.
Qualifications
I have over twenty yrs. Experience as a trained welder for various industries .I have held certifications in smaw on plate in all positions,and f.c.a.w. (inner shield) on plate in all positions with SHAW CONSTRUCTION GROUP.I have been certified on carbon pipe in all positions,stainless plate in all positions,and s.m.a.w. plate in all positions with FLUOR-DANIELS .For the last 7 yrs. I have been working in power plants in north carolina and Kentucky on maint. Shutdowns,s.c.r. retro fit,and scrubber installation. another job was at Cliffside n.c., on a new boiler construction on unit 6 about 3 yrs. With shaw.
Education
I have earned a g.e.d. from gaston college, graduated with a welding diploma from Gaston college. Also graduated from the FLUOR PIPE WELDING SCHOOL at Greenville tech..
Relevant Experience
My most experience has been working with Shaw construction group at the Cliffside modernization project building a brand new unit six and unit five scrubber tie in .This project lasted about 3 yrs. .other experience includes the marshall steam plant modernization,this project consisted of building thousands of feet of duct work,as well as building the f.g.d.,scrubber,and cataylist reactor assembly .this project lasted about 2 yrs. I also worked with flour - daniels on various maint. Outages at several different plants aswell as erecting mercury monitors at buck steam station this project lasted for about 8 mo. Also worked with fluor at a proctor & gamble Duracell battery plant doing maint. Welding .
Other Experience
My other experience has been welding in various industrial positions such as a maint. Welder,pipe welder for a industrial HVAC company,welder for a above ground tank manufacturer.,I have been welding since I was 18 and I am 48 now.I have used some of the most obsolete welding equipment as well as some of the most advanced.I am proficient in the use of just about all welding processes and equipment .
