Position: Field Plant Operator.

Oil Refinery Complex (1) Capacity 35,000 BPD ( Aug,2008 to Dec,2014. )

Oil Refinery Complex (2) Capacity 1, 20,000 BPD (Commissioning Member)

BPL is a hydro-skimming refinery with processing capacity of 1, 55,000 BPD.Major products are high-speed diesel oil, atmospheric Gas Oil, Motor Gasoline, Kerosene, JPI, LPG (Propane, Butane), Furnace Fuel Oil, and L&H Naphtha.

Worked as Plant Operator at following units of refinery:

I worked as a Field Operator on the following units.

1.Hydro treated Unit (HDT)

2.Reformer Unit (REF)

Responsibilities as Plant Experience:

Monitoring of unit w.r.t Operating parameters, Product Quality and Equipment Performance.

Logs and records all plant running parameters and reports.

Responsible for Start up, Shut down and Emergency handling of above mentioned Process units.

Carries out operational preparation of equipment prior to release for maintenance and ensures proper implementation of Permit to Work instructions.

Ensure that all accidents, Incidents and Injuries reporting and carried out the preliminary investigation.

Patrols area and inspects equipment, such as furnaces, towers, lines, and pumps, to detect malfunctions and leakage.

Responsible for execution of all safety measures to avoid incident / accidents.

Monitoring & ensure smooth operation of Unit.

I was directly involved in PRE-Commissioning commissioning & Master start up activities of 1, 20,000 BPD refinery relocated from Milford Haves, UK

1.Punch list Preparation after mechanical job completion.

2.Water flushing of process lines.

3.Slip plate listing for confined space entery.

4.Monitoring of maintenance activities.

5.Final inspection before box up.

6.Witness of hydro testing of Exchangers.

7.Nitrogen purging of system.

8.Solo run of drivers.

9.Steam out of system.

10.Mechanical run of pumps,comressors, fin fan air coolers & Air freezing of system.
