Drive the development and implementation of HSEMS throughout the company.

Assisting product line managers with the investigation of accidents and injuries and cooperating in the preparation of material and evidence for organization use in hearings, lawsuits, and insurance investigations.

Participate & conducts various issue of safety items such as : lockout/Tagout (LO/TO) Management of Change (MOC) Process; Incident Investigation and Reporting; Root Cause Analysis; Behavior-Based Safety (BBS); Job Safety Analysis (JSA); Facilities and equipment (plant site) HSE Audits; Industrial Hygiene monitoring.

Creates and plans ways to reduce occasions of risks by assisting various project teams with HSE related issues such as Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessment, HAZIDS, etc.

familiar with the 14 elements of PSM and experience in the OIL &GAS industry to assist in Process Safety and Integrity Management (PSIM) .

Preparation of HSE weekly and monthly statistics reports.

Drive the development and implementation of ISO14001 & OHSAS 18001 requirements.

Participate in a project between petrobel/eni team and MARSH insurance co, to decrease the insurance value for petrobel.

Conducting training lectures and programs for the employees to minimize loss prevention and accident/incident in the co.

Carries out other similar or related duties such as carrying out various drills on assigned location (fire drills, evacuation drills, MEDEVAC drills)

Check periodically contractor’s equipment from safety point of view.

Coordinates and executes environmental and/or safety programs to ensure practical, cost- effective measures are in place within the workplace, and a safety culture exists to ensure employees are accountable and responsible for health, safety and environmental conditions and practices.

Participates in HSE meetings; highlighting areas of concern and opportunities of improvement throughout different phases of the project.

Liaises with Management to develop specific and measurable HSE objectives in achieving HSE Excellence.

Member of the team in a coaching program with INTERTEK Company in order to increase safety culture for all employee/ contractors.

Sr. HSE Engineer (2009 –2013) Petrobel/Eni – El Gmail fields

Works on various HSE documentations including Task Based Risk Assessments (TBRAs), Work Safety Procedures (WSP), Safety Management System Bridging Documents, HSE Plans, .

Drive the development and implementation of ISO14001 & OHSAS 18001 requirements.

Report unsafe acts, conditions and near misses and initiate corrective actions.

Inspect construction activities to identify potential hazards and advise supervisors/workers the risk factor involved with the particular activity and the corrective measures to be adopted.

Inspect construction activities ( WAH, CSE, Welding &Cutting, scaffolding to identify potential hazards and advise supervisors/workers the risk factor involved with the particular activity and the corrective measures to be adopted.

Identify high risk activities and conduct risk assessment of potentially hazardous operations and recommends appropriate control procedures.

Conduct tool box talk for the employee before starting the job to identify hazard and the required control.

Tracking and follow up the near miss reports/ corrective action raised through HSE audits and accidents investigations.

Prepare and conduct periodical training sessions to increase HSE awareness for all workforces.

Lead and conduct HSE audits, inspections and evaluations for onshore plant, as site safety inspections, Compliance & Permit audits (Safety, Security, Product & Environmental), ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 audits

Participate & conducts Risk Assessment & JSA is carried out at regular intervals and that appropriate mitigation measures (KPIs) are developed and maintained. HSE Engineer (2006 - 2009) Petrobel/Eni El Gmail fields.

Monitor the use and implementation of PTW.
