PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Improved Safety Culture to zero incident rate. Initiated additional safety campaigns for slips, trips, and falls; established an employee safety committee; implemented reward incentives; and introduced a behavioral based safety program. Results: Reduced the number of incidents to 0 for eight straight months and more employee involvement in safety.

Reduced subcontract costs and increased recycle rebates by over 700%. After ignored requests from current waste subcontractor, solicited proposal from competing waste subcontractor. Negotiated initial proposal to a more advantageous position, including switching to single-stream recycling and getting all new FEL and Roll-off dumpsters. Results: Improved capability for customer at no additional cost and increased recycle rebates by over 700%.

Improved Cash Flow processes. Developed, implemented and tracked a daily cash flow metric. Monitored and aligned payables with receivables timing. Results: Achieved positive cash flow for the first time since company was purchased. Improved cash flow projection accuracy resulting in a high level of confidence from our line of credit banker.

Improved Contractual Profitability. Improved, refined and implemented “real” estimates at complete by improving communications between all stakeholders. Results: Improved project profitability, improved customer confidence in contractual execution, and increased the ability to accurately assess opportunities for efficiencies.
