Experience

United States Army, Sergeant 2007-2012

Military Police (2007-Present)

Provided battlefield support by conducting area security and law and order operations. Preserved law and order for the peacetime community by securing critical resources and administering crime prevention programs.

Team Leader-Leads and supervises Military Police teams and sections in support of battlefield operations, to include area security and force protection patrol operations; performs duties as Military Police Patrolman; provides technical and tactical guidance to subordinate personnel; responsible for the health, welfare, morale and training of two Solders, and over $300,000 worth of vehicles and equipment.

Squad Leader-Leads and supervises Military Police squads and sections in support of battlefield operations, to include area security and force protection patrol operations; performs duties as Military Police Patrol Supervisor; provides technical and tactical guidance to subordinate personnel; responsible for the health, welfare, morale and training of nine Solders, and over $1,000,000 worth of vehicles and equipment.

Patrol Supervisor- Serves as a Military Police Patrol Supervisor in support of the 385th Military Police Battalion with worldwide missions in support of overseas contingency operations; responsible for the professional development of soldiers; to include training, counseling, health, and welfare; accountable for the operational readiness and maintenance of tactical vehicles and law enforcement equipment valued over $100,000 without loss or damage in support of a community with over 3,000 members.

Class instructor- As an Instructor/Writer for the Total Army School System; responsible for the design, preparation and execution of assigned periods of instruction; identifies course requirements and training material including training devices, weapon systems, range preparation and operation, optical devices, communication equipment, and vehicles valued in excess of $2,000,000; responsible for the individual and collective training, counseling, mentoring, health and welfare of Soldiers of the 385th Military Police Battalion..

Adopt a School Liaison- Hand selected by the 385th Military Police Battalion Command Sergeant Major and 3rd ID Command Sergeant Major to be a AAS Liaison. In accordance with AR 360-61 Community Relations and DoD 5500.7 Joint Ethics Regulations, the AAS Program contributes military resources and services to schools in order to nurture the intellectual, emotional, social, and physical growth of children in the greater Fort Stewart/Hinesville area; to increase public awareness of the Army’s mission; and to foster good relations.

Administration Duties-Supported the 293rd Military Police Company with administrative and clerical duties, while helping with platoon duties and administrative work. Worked directly for the Commander, First Sergeant, Operations Sergeants, and Platoon Sergeants on a daily basis.
