Duties: Assess, diagnose and prescribe to acute and chronic patients presenting to the fast track area of ED (Acuity level 3, 4 & 5). Minor procedures including, but not limited to: suturing, staples, I&D, nail removal, foreign body removal (based on hospital protocol), and splint placement. Perform pelvic exams and OB issues for patients < 20 weeks gestation. Ordering and evaluating lab tests and doing appropriate consults and follow up as needed.
