Comfortable with small intricate parts to large castings, forgings and fabrications.
Knowledge of machining practices for a multitude of different materials.
Hands-on experience with all manual shop equipment including drills, mills, lathes, press brakes, shears.
Hands-on experience with CNC machinery including boring mills, machining centers & turning centers,and Mazak milling centers using maze conversational programming.
Comfortable operating all types and manufacturers of NC & CNC controls.
Currently FMS expert maintaining production cells including rough stock acquisition, loading, in-process inspection, final inspection, non-contaminated final wash & packaging, and shipment verification.
Monitor, maintain and update both FMS schedules and CNC programs, offsets, tool and spindle probes, macro programs and all applicable tooling.
Familiar with multi-axis multi-tasking live-spindle 5 axis lathes including spline hobbing to 001”.
Able and willing to correct any and all machining problems as required for 6-Sigma Production.
Experienced with SPC, ISO9001-2008 and 5-S methodologies.
Effective trainer ready to share willingly with teammates. Respectful team player.
Able and willing to perform all required shop duties, no restrictions.
Skilled, safe crane/hoist and fork lift operator.
