Over 30 years of experience in the Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental arena planning, developing, implementing and Management of HSE processes within Union & Non-union environments in both the Domestic and International arenas. Managed Human Resource responsibilities coordinated with HSE duties with two employers.
Coordinate with Customer, Company management and/or as member of Project/Construction Management Team to provide necessary viable safety policies, practices and procedures to ensure compliance. Establish & coordinate emergency care and first aid, employee physicals (when required), monitor medical clinic’s performance and facilitate an aggressive medical case management program to return employees to work. Maintain workman’s compensation files & coordinate claims with insurance carriers, assist in issues and representing client or company in legal health & safety matters.
Conduct Company, Project and Client incident investigations, JSA & JHA documentation, safety audits and site-specific inspections. Compile, analyze and interpret incident root cause analysis & loss, audit findings and recommendations. Prepare statistical data & reports at specified intervals.
Adherence with OSHA 1910, 1926, maritime and Homeland Security compliance. Consult with client for HSE staffing and contractor/subcontractor safety management systems. Possess excellent verbal/ written communication skills and computer literate.
