Duration : March 2015 to current
Team Size : 4
Description :
The FY16 Partner pricing process will be used for both internal indirect quoting and the external partner pilot program. The systems needs to work the same for internal sales creating quotes on behalf of a partner and for those partners who will be in the pilot creating self-serve quotes.
Today most of the indirect deals are special bid. The incentive framework is intended to drive new behaviors with the partners. This also means a new pricing model in CPQ for determining discounts based on contractual agreements and incentives in a programmatic way. The Incentive Framework Process is broken down into Partner Program Discounts and Incentive Discounts. For the most part, the discounts are based on the SKU. CPQ will be looking at the Opportunity, Partner Relationship, Account Segment and SKU to systematically apply the Partner Program discount and eligible Incentive discounts.
