I started during plant startup with debugging and integrating lines. I worked using the PLCs to tie all main lines and interlocking lines to work together; mostly using Alan Bradley 5000 software, RS links, and panel builder software. I added remote and local IOs both digital and analog. I also intergraded multiple PLCs from robots and feed lines. I also worked on Electromagnetic systems, rail carriers, and automated guides vehicles to the main lines. I also worked on Servo controllers and motors to control 13 shuttles running in sync with no mechanical connection.

I also worked on break down calls using trouble shooting to reduce line down time.

Variable Frequency Drives: I have installed and performed repairs on motors ranging from hp to 200 hp. The brands that I am most familiar with are Allen Bradley, Brashaw, Seaman, Dayton drives and EWS. I have also worked on several D.C. drives.

Relay Based Motor Controls- I have installed and repaired single stage and multi-stage starters and interlocking controls. I have also built several control boxes for conveyer systems.

Electrical Power & Lighting- Installed and repaired switching stations, power distribution, transformers, main power and control power. Worked with 110/220- volt single phase, 220/440 three-phase power. I can also read electrical prints.

Mechanical

Equipment Installation and Rigging- Installed and moved all types of equipment. Cold Headers, roller, Air compressors, Head Induction units, cooling towers, Heat treat ovens, Part washers, and changed motors ranging from 10-1000hp and aligned shafts.

Mechanical Power Transmission- Worked on and repaired diesel engines, chain driven, bearing rollers, gearboxes and cam followers.

Hydraulics- worked on an repaired power packs, hydraulic systems on ship, electrical control valves, pilot valves, ram, presses, winches and rebuilt hydraulic motors.

Pneumatics- Repaired and installed air valves, air breaks, rams, air clutches, and air tools

Welding- I have performed wire, stick, and all lighting welding.

CNC/Machining Center- I have repaired CNC’s and calibrated them but have never ran production on them.

Waste Water Treatment- Worked on ship sewer waste treatment. I have also worked on the salt-water distillery plant to drinkable fresh water.

HVAC to include chillers- Installed and repaired cooling towers for heat induction units for ships air conditioner and heat system.

Gas Furnace- Installed and repaired heat-treat ovens, part washer, and plant heating system for plant and for ship boiler.

Generators-Worked on ship main generator, repaired power regulators and load sharing control.
